@cinnamon nevermind, you mean on the initial message that defines who gets into the private convo. next time I'll read twice before commenting.
@cinnamon I'm pretty sure you can safely @ mention people in private messages. If the person you mention isn't in the private thread they won't know, because they can't even decrypt the message. Same thing with referrals to threads. Only people who can read the private message will see the referral backlinks appearing on the actual threads.
I'm using Manjaro with full-disk encryption. Not that it matters much since I'm running it on a Huawei Matebook Pro #team-red

@lxoliva I'm an admirer of RMS' philosophy and tend to use the term FLOSS, although I don't have that strong a feeling against open source.
