In my opinion, individual survivalist preparation is somewhat pointless. You yourself, could be all skilled up and doing well but then get bitten by a mosquito in your sleep or tread on a nail and die from some new unknown condition that you don't have the medicine to treat.
We need to be thinking around mobilising on the mass scale. Creating infrastructure and institutions that could scale to hundreds of thousands if stuff starts taking a turn for the worse. We need to be ambitious but pragmatic about how much influence we individually and collectively hold and what our actual capacity for mutual aid is now, and where t he capacity could potentially expand to.
