@Christian Bundy @Daan I'd be happy to do an orientation/exploration session on the rust codebase, if anyone's interested. Caveat: it's not terribly complete, and is mostly a handful of libraries that have yet to be assembled into a whole.
@Rabble sweet! link? (private msg is fine.)
Awesome! All of the above sound great to me.
@cft I'm definitely up for something on the 17th. I suspect we can get at least few more people as well. Any thoughts on a location/venue/vibe? I've only been in the bay area a handful of times, so I don't have any suggestions, really. Now I have to catch up on the math(s)-heavy threads you've been active in so we can discuss...
@Rabble Your place up north looks awesome. I've been pondering a home base someplace other than my current location, and an off-grid cabin in the woods of northern california is high on the list of possibilities, so I'd love to check yours out. I'd be up for the 10 hour round trip if a couple other people are interested in joining for a mini hackfest or something. (Anyone else into this? I'm happy to rent a car if so.)
@noffle @cinnamon @nanomonkey Are you all in the Oakland/Berkeley area? Low-key hangouts (meals, bikes, hikes, whatever) sound great. Hard to predict how much social energy I'll have after the camp for something like an un-conference, but if someone else wants to drive it, I'd definitely partake.
@Luandro @mixmix What are you hoping to do while you're in town? Any hard constraints in your schedule? Thoughts on the generous offers by the locals?
