@nilon in the top picture it shows a badly designed table, flexing when a force is applied downwards, i.e. a weight is placed on the table. In the bottom picture, the design has been improved with a beam under the table, and now the table can support the weight without bending.

I think the colours show where the stresses are, which parts are under tention

@Dominic seems quite as you say. It still calls my attention that not only the top bends but also the legs of the table. Neat.

What's the software ? Can it work on any STL file ? Seems interesting for 3d printing type applications.
