I still don't see how the first video demonstration can actually be done without creating a perpetual motion machine. Though tbh I always had trouble with fluid physics : it seems like the hardest, and thus the most handwavy field of physics

With climate change, the sea will gonna be harder to predict. The good weathers windows will be shorter and speed will mean safety.

But foils are still not good for heavy boats sadly, I hope they will come to this at one point.
